normaNorma Barr is co-founder of DimensionAlley, a 3D printing store and café in Berlin. She considers herself to be a 3D printing wallah, using her printers as crafting tools to materialise amazing objects from spare parts to comets. She worked for 10 years in software configuration and release management at Sony and SonyEricsson in Munich and Tokyo. After a break while her 3 children were very small, she made the transition from 3D printing start-up company in the back room at home to printing shop pioneer when she, together with husband Amin, opened the doors to Europe’s first 3D printing café in 2013.

3D Jewelry Design & Printing – Workshop

A 90 minute, hands-on experience of 3D printing with an introduction to tools for modelling and preparing for print. You will learn how to materialise an .svg (or other image file) into an extruded 3D model and then print it out – perhaps your company Logo. Modelling will be done using Tinkercad and each attendee will receive their small printed object by the end of the day.
