Norma Barr is co-founder of DimensionAlley, a 3D printing store and café in Berlin. She considers herself to be a 3D printing wallah, using her printers as crafting tools to materialise amazing objects from spare parts to comets. She worked for 10 years in software configuration and release management at Sony and SonyEricsson in Munich and Tokyo. After a break while her 3 children were very small, she made the transition from 3D printing start-up company in the back room at home to printing shop pioneer when she, together with husband Amin, opened the doors to Europe’s first 3D printing café in 2013.
