Transforming Business Models with Open Source

When Sourcefabric was established in 2010, we had to reinvent the business model of the organisation to make our work in open source sustainable. We believe that business technology should start being the arena where we share innovation with the objective of reaching a greater benefit for all. We are currently introducing a new concept of a “open source consortium” where members/users do not only share the code of the product but also the road map and discuss priorities and future development.

To talk about #WomenInTech is important, because in German “Technologie” is female anyway!
